I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, where I developed a love for movies, music, sports, and telling stories. I headed to Kansas City, Missouri for college, and that’s where I really got bitten by the filmmaking bug. I started making shorts and learning the craft by doing a little bit of everything and discovering that I loved being part of the process as much as I loved the finished product.

After college, I worked for a small town newspaper and got involved in the clipping business. I then made my way to Portland, Oregon and began my career at the ground level in the video content world as a production assistant. From there, I worked my way up from production coordinator to producer, eventually co-creating Lucky Day LLC. Building a company from nothing gave me the opportunity to work with incredible people, take on big creative challenges, and learn that the secret to making great work is always the same: surround yourself with talented people, communicate, stay organized, and enjoy the ride.

After years in Portland, I finally made my way to Detroit - a city I had dreamed about living in for as long as I can remember. It felt like the right place for the next chapter, both personally and professionally.

Outside of work, I’m a lifelong baseball fan, a dedicated fantasy sports enthusiast, a music obsessive, and an unapologetic lover of Lifetime movies. I also love to write. It's my favorite hobby, and it takes up the majority of my free time. My movie tastes are perhaps best summed up by my two favorites: The Maltese Falcon and Big Trouble in Little China. They both make perfect sense to me.

At the end of the day, I’m someone who loves good stories, good people, and being part of something that’s bigger than any one person.
